In the United States marijuana is the most common illicit drug used. According to the conflict theory prohibition of marijuana may also be found racist because there are stereotypes about people from Latin America, which reminds us that drugs are a big problem. I think that marijuana is also very popular in our country, which is illustrated by this graffiti. This is a big social problem because teenagers think that marijuana is not unhealthy, and they do not realize how dangerous it can be. We should be aware of problems with memory and learning, distorted perception, difficulty with thinking and problem solving which are negative effects. I believe that more and more countries will legalize marijuana. The main reason, why countries have not already done this is money, because it is a profitable business. We can only imagine what will happen with marijuana in the next fifty years. ...

More and more people are overloaded with their work and they usually do not have enough time and energy to do sports and to cook healthy meals at home. Because of that and because of relatively cheap prices, fast food restaurants are more and more popular. As a result of such nutritional habits many people have problems with cholesterol and consequently many other health problems, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, arteriosclerosis and all of these problems could lead to heart disease and a heart attack. In 2004 a documentary film about fast food was filmed. The name of the documentary is “Supersize me”. It is about Morgan Spurlock who was eating only fast food for three months three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). After three months he almost died. In the first five days of eating only fast food in Mc’Donalds he gained unbelievable 9.5 pounds. This experiment shows us all negative effects of fast food. We must be aware of what we eat every day. And this graffiti reminds us of that....

Drugs are available everywhere in the world and to everyone. The most vulnerable population in relation to drug exposure is the youth. Usually they are the easiest target for dealers because young people do not have enough knowledge about this topic. They do not know that drugs can harm them. They do not fear to try new or even obscure things and they are sure that the bad things could not happen to them. Therefore they start using drugs obsessively. Even some of my colleagues cannot go to a party without taking at least one of the soft drugs, which I consider a rather intimidating fact. There are many different types of drugs. When we talk about soft drugs we mean marihuana, tobacco, and alcohol. On the other hand we know heavy drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, MDMA and so on. I have to say that I haven’t seen recently any public campaigns against taking drugs that would show how extremely harmful this is, not only for addicts but also for a society as a whole. I think that the Ministry of health should be included in the public campaign about this topic. Anyhow, I am glad that at least someone did that by drawing this simple but very powerful graffiti....
