| Comment: | The graffiti shows a famous and well known character, Bart Simpson, from the animated television series The Simpsons. Probably everyone of us watched the cartoon at least once and we all know the Simpson family in which Bart is the eldest child. He is a son of Homer and Marge and has two younger sisters named Lisa and Maggie. The Simpsons represent an American middle class family that lives in a town called Springfield. Homer is shown as a working man who financially takes care of the family, Marge is a typical housewife, Maggie is the youngest child who sucks her pacifier all the time, Lisa is Marges favourite daughter and Bart a ten year old who is always causing trouble. The family is very dysfunctional but despite that they love and take care of each other.
After the release of The Simpsons we could find Barts pictures almost everywhere. Teenagers wear T-shirts with his character, there are stickers, posters and other things. I think that the reason why his character was and still is such a success is because of his rebellious attitude and pride by which many teenagers are inspired.
